Equity (Assistant) Stage Manager

The National Ballet of Canada, Canada’s premiere dance company and one of the world’s top international dance companies is seeking an energetic Assistant Stage Manager to work in one or both of the following two contractual positions during the 2010/11 season.

Equity Stage Manager assigned to Outreach and Education (YOU Dance):

• Must be comfortable working on own without supervision
• Should have basic lighting experience
• Some travel within Ontario required

Available to work:

• September 13 to October 1, 2010 (3 weeks)
• October 4 – 8, 2010 (1 week)
• November 30, 2010 (1 day)
• January 24 – February 4, 2011 (2 weeks)
• March 28 – 31, 2011 (1 week)
• April 11-14, 2011 (1 week)

Equity Assistant Stage Manager Toronto

• Working with Equity Stage Managers in the holiday and spring seasons
• Dance experience an asset

Available to work:

• November 28 – December 25, 2010 (4 weeks)
• May 1 – June 11, 2011 (6 weeks)
