Make a Personal Donation
The National Ballet of Canada is grateful for the support of individuals who believe in the importance and beauty of dance. The generosity of private donors is instrumental to the success of the ballet, and a great way for donors to demonstrate their love of dance and appreciation for the role of the arts in our culture.
Your donation will help directly support, nurture and encourage the continued growth and artistic excellence of The National Ballet of Canada.
Special donor appreciation events, exclusive newsletters and opportunities to meet the artists of the ballet are just some of the ways the National Ballet shows donations in action and engages donors in a community of support.
Our thanks to you

Friends' Corps
By joining the Friends' Corps, you join a broad base of supporters who believe in helping the National Ballet achieve artistic excellence and success.
Supporters who make annual gifts of $75 to $1,749 are recognized through The National Ballet of Canada's Friends' Corps programme. These gifts are important to the continued success of the National Ballet, totalling approximately $800,000 a year in support of general operations.
"I am part of this incredible company because it offers great support for dancers, as well as the amenities we need to improve as atheletes and artists. I want to thank you for the vital contributions you make to the Ballet. You keep us dancing!" - Jonathan Renna, Second Soloist
The National Ballet celebrates the Friends' Corps for their passion, interest and loyalty. In appreciation of their support, Friends are offered unique opportunities to get behind the scenes and increase their understanding and enjoyment of ballet.
Invitations to special events include opportunities to watch dancers in rehearsals at the Walter Carsen Centre and The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. Friends also enjoy access to the Friends' Corps Lounge at the theatre during performances as well as receiving the quarterly donor newsletter, Preview.

Patrons' Council
A community of generous leaders supporting a Canadian cultural treasure.
Donors who make annual gifts of $1,750 or more are recognized through the Patrons' Council of The National Ballet of Canada. Patrons' gifts are integral to the continued success of the National Ballet, totalling more than $1.6 million a year in support of the company’s general operations.
"We definitely couldn't attain what we do without the generous donations Patrons give the National Ballet every day. Patrons' gifts help bridge the funding gap, enabling us to produce and create new works and keep us all dancing."
- Piotr Stanczyk, Principal Dancer
In recognition of their generosity, members of the Patrons' Council enjoy a close relationship with the National Ballet and its artists. Patrons are invited to recognition events with the dancers and offered highly personalized service, including priority ticketing and acknowledgement, and the use of the beautiful Henry N.R. Jackman Lounge at The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts during National Ballet performances.
